Hayley Williams for MAC

So, when I heard about Hayley Williams working together with MAC I got really excited. I know there would be some orange shades and though I actually don’t really like orange, I had to get the lipstick and eyeshadow.

Als ich gehört habe, dass Hayley Williams mit MAC zusammen Arbeitet, war ich natürlich ziemlich aufgeregt. Ich wusste, dass die Kollektion Orangetöne enthalten wird und obwohl ich orange eigentlich nicht wirklich mag, musste ich mir den Lippenstift und den Lidschatten besorgen.

I was also interested in the two other products - the Mineralize Skinfinish and orange Nailpolish, but I hardly use things like the skinfinish and I heard MAC nail polishes aren’t as good as O.P.I. or even Kiko. So I went to Kiko - and yay, they had nail polish sale for 2,50/each, and so I got two orange tones and some others, too :)

Anyways - I gotta say I LOVE the two products I purchased. The lipstick is long-lasting, but you need super moisturized lips because of the matte finish (or just apply lipgloss after using the lipstick). But since my lips aren’t as nice at the moment because of the cold weather I guess I still have to wait to wear it. Also, I don’t like it that much with my blue hair, but you know, I change my hair every few weeks, so that’s not a problem :)

The eyeshadow is awesome, too. I already wore it purely and combined with either red, black or pink. It’s such a nice peachy-corally colour, quite basic on one had, but poppy on the other. 

Ich war eigentlich auch an den andern beiden Produkten sehr interessiert - dem Mineralize Skinfinish und dem Nagellack. Da ich aber Produkte wie das Skinfinish kaum nutze und von den MAC Nagellacken eher schlechte Rezensionen gelesen hab, in denne O.P.I. und Kiko empfohlen wurden, hab ich den auch nicht besorgt. Stattdessen bin ich zu Kiko gegangen, die glücklicherweise grade die Nagellacke im Angebot haben, und hab mir neben 2 Orangetönen noch einige andere Farben gegönnt. :)

Jedenfalls - ich muss sagen, dass ich die beiden Artikel, die ich gekauft habe absolut LIEBE. Der Lippenstift ist langanhaltend, aber man muss wegen des matten Finishes sehr gepflegte Lippen haben. Da meine aber vom langen Winter noch sehr rissig sind, muss ich ihn entweder mit zusätzlichem Lipgloss drüber tragen oder zur Zeit noch drauf verzichten. Da ich aber ohnehin nicht finde, dass er zu meine blauen Haaren so gut aussieht, ist das gar nicht schlimm. Meine Haarfarben ändern sich ja aber ohnehin ständig :)

Der Lidschatten ist auch richtig toll. Ich hab ihn bereits pur ausprobiert,a ber auch kombiniert mit entweder schwarz, rot oder pinkem Lidschatten. Es ist so eine schöner pfirsich-korallfarbener Ton, sehr basic auf der einen Seite, aber dennoch schön poppig.

Let’s do this

I’ve got exciting news you you guys: In January I finally found a band to join. As some of you might know, music means the world to me and if I had the choice, I’d decide to only make music for the rest of my life.

We are called Right up your Street, we’d be happy if some of you would like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter. We also have a Website where you can download the first song we released with my voice or just listen to what we already have on Soundcloud.
We also have an Instagram account, simply named “rightupyourstreet”.

You just can’t imagine how happy I am about that. The guys are amazing, though I am definitely not the easiest to handle, and playing with them is so fun. Until now, we have 10 songs just waiting to be played on our summer tour. 2 of them are absolutely new and most of them have my own lyrics since we had to rewrite some parts of older songs.

One song on that list is even an old one by a friend of mine and me - it’s our latest single “No one to blame”. We also shot a video for this two weeks ago and we’re releasing it on May 22. I can’t wait to get some feedback on this :)

Ich hab tolle Neuigkeiten: Im Januar hab ich endlich eine Band gefunden, in der ich singen kann. Wie manch einer von euch ja bereits weiß, lebe ich für die Musik und hätte ich die Wahl, würde ich bis an mein Lebensende nur noch Musik machen.

Wir heißen Right up your Street,und wir würden uns natürlich freuen, wenn der eine oder andere und auf Facebook liked oder und in Twitter folgt. Wir haben auch eine Website, auf der ihr unseren ersten Song mit meiner Stimme downloaden könnt, oder ihr hört euch einfach was älteres auf Soundcloud an.
Wir sind auch bei Instagram, einfach zu finden unter ”rightupyourstreet”.

Ihr könnt euch nicht vorstellen, wie früh ich über das alles bin. Die Jungs sind toll, obwohl ich ja nun wirklich nicht die einfachste Persönlichkeit habe, und mit ihnen zu spielen macht unglaublich Spaß. Bisher haben wir 10 Songs, die nur darauf warten, auf unserer Sommertour gespielt zu werden. 2 davon sind völlig neu und die meisten haben zumindest meine eigenen Lyrics, da wir einige Parts alter Songs neu schreiben mussten.

Einer der Songs auf dieser Liste ist sogar ein sehr alter, geschrieben von einem Freund und mir - unsere aktuelle Single, “No one to blame”. Wir haben dazu sogar kürzlich ein Video gedreht, Premiere ist am 22.5.. Ich kann’s gar nicht erwarten, Feedback dazu zu erhalten :)

Biffy Clyro Konzert. Es war wundervoll, ich hab’ endlich eine Freundin wieder getroffen, die ich durch die band kennengelernt hab und wir haben den ganzen Tag vor der Halle verbracht. Es war eiskalt, aber ein echt schöner Tag mit ihr :)

Januar war ziemlich anstrengend für mich, aber auch der Beginn einer besseren Episode in meinem Leben. Das Bild hier fasst das auch ganz gut zusammen. Ich war krank und konnte ab 5Uhr nicht mehr schlafen, also hab ich ein Bad genommen und Kakao getrunken ♥

Just to let you guys know - a few weeks ago my laptop got stolen so I don’t have the chance to post something at the moment. Somehow that misfortune is glued to me like chewing gum to your shoes.
